True love is a thing that is hard to find.
At times it seems hard to know one's own mind.
How can you be certain when you you hold each other
That years down the road, you won't seek another?
Hope is a thing one must hold in their heart.
For hope and faith are required to start.
But even these thing are not enough,
For trust is needed when times do grow tough.
True love will last for a long span of years,
If both work hard to conquer their fears.
Try hard not to be petty, spiteful or small,
For in time, a slingshot can bring down a wall.
Honor your love, honor your heart.
And your love in the end will be as strong as the start.
True love is not easy, as with so many things.
But the hard work required enhances the joy that it brings.
