Robin
Robin's Father: Dave Rain. January 24, 1969 - June 1, 2016
Born in Redding, CA. He started as an accountant for The Sausalito Group and eventually rose
to the position of CFO.

Robin's Mother: Gail Bradley. April 13, 1965 - June 1, 2016
Born in Paradise, CA. She worked as a pediatrician and eventually started her own private
practice. She gave up practice for several years when Robin was born, but eventually went back
when Robin started 1st grade.

The couple met in Sausalito at a wine and cheese festival and hit it off. Soon they fell in love
and a whirlwind courtship ensued. They were married a year later. Robin was born a year later
on March 13, 1995. Robin was very bright and at an early age it became evident that he was
musically inclined. He loved to sing and make up silly little ditties about everything from taking a
bath to not wanting to eat brussels sprouts. His parents soon enrolled him in private singing
lessons and he took what music classes he could in school.

His parents, nominally Christian, preferred to appear only for the occasional religious holiday,
church function or fundraiser. When Robin was twelve, he auditioned for the elite singing group
of the Sausalito Christian Fellowship, the Sunshine Singers. The listeners were amazed by not
only his angelic voice, but his obvious talent. He was brought into the fold and quickly became
the star of the group, much to the dismay of the older woman who had been the favored
member.

When he was ready for 9th grade, his parents, now comfortably wealthy, enrolled him in The
Marin School, a private college preparatory school. He loved the school, his classes and soon
became quite popular with his classmates. His favorite classes were English and Vocals. He
graduated in 2013 with a 3.5 GPA. After that, Robin wanted to go to the San Francisco
Conservatory of Music, but strangely enough both his parents, who had always supported his
singing, would not support this, saying he needed to find a real job that would pay the bills. He
rebelled by getting a light clerical job, doing voice-overs for commercials and video games and
singing at the Starry Plough in Berkeley to support himself.

One night, June 1, 2012, he arrived home after a gig at the Plough to the sight of cop cars and
an ambulance, all with their lights flashing. He ran towards the front door but was stopped
before he even got close to the yellow crime scene tape on the front porch. Even from there, he
could see blood splattered on the walls and a trail of blood that had dripped down the stairs. He
completely freaked out and had to be sedated. The police informed him that they believed it to
be a robbery gone wrong and that the suspect was probably a meth addict. The cops on the
scene seemed bored with the proceedings and closed the case rather quickly, deeming it
unlikely that they would catch the murderer.

Robin was completely incapable of handling any of the arrangements, being too distraught, but
fortunately a family friend had been made the executor of the will and everything went smoothly.
Due to the rapid close of the case by the police, Robin came into several million dollars of
insurance money in the blink of an eye and was left the sole owner of several pieces of valuable
property and a very well-rounded stock portfolio.

Robin was not the slightest bit used to grief or hardship of any kind and took to drinking heavily.
After about four months of this, he decided he needed a change of scenery and applied to the
London Music School. He was accepted and enrolled in part-time classes for the following year.

He hired someone to watch over the house and informed Bill, the family friend of his intentions,
then hopped on a flight to London. He wandered around London, randomly taking bus and cab
rides. After a day or two of this he got down to the business of looking for a place to live,
eventually securing a studio at Nido Spitafields, which was not too far from the school.

The first year in London was hard for Robin: the loss of his parents, the loss of anything familiar
and the abrupt submersion into a foreign culture were almost too much to bear. He frequently
had nightmares and would wake up screaming, which was often followed by a stiff drink (ok,
more than a few). After several bad experiences, he swore off alcohol forever, set his sights on
his original goals: degrees in Music Composition and Vocals.

The next couple of years seem to fly by: days at the school, studying and singing, nights
hanging out with friends or singing at taverns around London. Eventually, he reached his goal,
and with his wounds healing, if not completely healed, decided it was time to head home and
seek out his fortune.

He currently resides in his family home in Sausalito, CA.
