Puppies in My Backyard
To the tune of “Werewolves of London” by Warren Zevon - YouTube Link

I saw Groot and Rocket wrestling in the backyard.
He kept trying to put his balls in her face.
He was trying to be the dominate one.
But she bit them and put him in his place.

You hear Groot howling when I’m petting Rocket.
The goof is jealous again.
But when Groot gets attention she doesn’t even mind.
She’s just happy for her kin.

Ah-hoo puppies in my backyard
Ah-hoo, huh

When they are running like crazy around the backyard.
You know the plants simply cannot win!
If they could, they would run and hide, lest they get trampled again!
Another call to the gardener

I saw Tabitha walking with her mother.
Exercising the dogs again.
I saw Tabitha  and Groot walking down the street, uh
Exercising the dogs again.
I saw Groot licking his sister’s face; he got drool on it again!
She didn’t even mind!
