Poor old Dulcia Poma,
Her life is full of trauma.
Raped by her father,
Who had murdered her mother.

Poor old Aelfred Caradoc,
Lost the only family he's got.
Don't feel bad; he gained a sister.
Who used to be him; what a plot twister!

They met in a quiet spot,
He listened to her when she talked.
She was stunned to realize,
He recalled the drink that she prized.

They hit it off there and then,
And soon they would meet again.
Their paths seemed intertwined,
All due to a glass of wine.

In due course, he asked for her hand,
She had to refuse; he was a man.
Tears were shed, but the bond did hold.
It's strength doubled, I am told.

Trouble she found, but help she was given.
Soon she learned the will for livin'.
She worked hard; she had a plan,
To regain her goddess, to trust a man.

A second time, he asked her to wed,
This time she smiled and nodded her head.
The couple is happy, their future is bright.
And that's all I'll tell you on this night.
